Randolph Stripe is inspired by the architectural details inside the Cultural Center and Rookery buildings of downtown Chicago. The buildings are highly ornamental, both inside and out, and are awash with layered patterns and textures. Randolph stripe uses a block printing technique to enhance the handmade, antiqued look of the textile and features a greek key design on both selvedge edges.
